Help! Win7 won't start

Wondering if anyone can help. I know just enough about computers and operating systems to be dangerous.
I dual boot Windows XP and Windows 7 on separate partitions of the same physical drive. I run MyDefrag v4.3.1 in both environments. I tried something new today...
I defragmented my XP system volume from Win7 using Monthly System Disk option. That was fine, and XP is happy. I did the same for Win7 from XP, and now Win7 will not boot - bootmgr error that a file is missing or corrupt.
Any help is appreciated!

Boot from your Windows 7 DVD and choose the repair option. This should restore the boot manager.
