I figure this has already been asked or suggested, but when using windows schedualer to run jkdefrag on a daily basis, a way to have it open already minimized (similar to setting up a shortcut to run minimized) for the schedualer, because I notice that when JKDefrag opens via a task schedualer, the only way to make it an inactive window that is not on top of other windows is to hit the minimize button, you can't click on another window (that's already open) to make it the active window.
This wouldn't make it "hidden" from view as is mentioned in your suggestions page, since you can still access if if you  wanted to.

Click the top bar of the new JkDefrag window once to make it active, and then you click again on other windows. It's a Windows idiosyncrasy, not caused by JkDefrag.

"hidden" from view

From the Frequently Asked Questions: Create a special userid (for example "jkdefrag") with administrator permissions, then add a schedule to the Windows Task Scheduler (see above) and specify that userid when asked for. The task will then run on that userid and not show anything on the user's screen.

Maybe if you make a shortcut and set the minimized setting of that shortcut, and then schedule the shortcut. But I haven't tried that myself.

no, this doesn't work, task schedualer won't let you schedual shortcuts.
You can make them, but they won't start.

You could use a batch file with the following content:
Code:
start /min jkdefrag_command_line
