I'd like to make a small suggestion, not about sorting logic, but about of "ease of use". I like to be able to see what ran and when and be able to find a specific log to compare, so I use "!ScriptTitle!.log" as the name of the script's log file, rather than overwriting every time.

Very interesting thread, and thanks for all the hard work.

Thank you for the idea, I'll be updating the scripts soon!

what is the differance with each level of the scripts?

Each script has its own description which you can see by opening the scripts in a text editor or by selecting them at the MyDefrag main screen.

I'll update the first post with the description for each script, so come back to this thread (or refresh it in your browser) in a few minutes.

It depends. If you have a script for your game drive, I'm assuming it's not the system drive C:. If it is, and you wish to use my scripts, you will not be able to use other scritp sets. Any script set has to be used exclusively.

To use my System Script set you have to change the code of my scripts to include folders relevant to the games you play. I suggest you include them in Zone 3 of the System Disk Scripts (remember to also alter the Automatic Scripts). This will result in very fast gaming performance as your game files will be placed in the fastest part of the disk. Example code:

Code:
  /* Zone 3: Registry & my games. */
  FileSelect
    DirectoryPath("?:\Windows\System32\Config")
or DirectoryPath("ADD GAME DIRECTORY PATH HERE")
      or DirectoryName("OR USE DIRECTORY NAME")
      or FileName("ntuser*")
      or FileName("UsrClass*")
      or FileName("*.log")
  FileActions
    SortByName(Ascending)
  FileEnd

If your system drive C: is not your games partition, you can use my System Scripts in your system drive without any modifications. However, if your gaming partition is different from your system drive (and you wish to use another gaming script) the data scripts and automatic scripts will have to be altered so they do not include your games drive.

Also, if your system partition letter is not C: you will have to alter this parameter in the Automatic Scripts.

Thanks for the suggestion, it would indeed be a nice implementation.

On top of that, I'm thinking of including temporary internet files in Zone 6 - Temporary Files. So far I have come up with the following list. Help / suggestions appreciated.

DirectoryPath:
C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\Safari
C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Apple Computer\Safari
C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Avant Profiles
C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Maxthon3
C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox
C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\SeaMonkey
C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Chromium\User Data
C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Comodo\Dragon\User Data
C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Opera

DirectoryName:
Temporary Internet Files

Couldn't you just do this:
Code:
    Temporary(yes)
      or DirectoryName("Temp")
      or DirectoryName("Temporary Internet Files")
      or DirectoryPath("C:\Users\*\AppData\Roaming\*")
      or DirectoryPath("C:\Users\*\AppData\Local\*")

That would leave lots of settings and other program files unrelated to browsers all together, that's not what I had in mind.
