I installed MyDefrag and ran it. It worked great! I did not set any schedule for it to auto-defrag. I want it to be manual at my request.  I could not find this option. I then uninstalled MyDefrag, rebooted, removed registry entries, rebooted and MyDefrag still runs when my computer is idle.  How do I unistall it completely?  How do I set it up so that it only runs when I want it to?

I've highlighted the option in this post: MyDefrag automatically adds tasks to windows scheduler without asking the user
You can also remove the tasks manually from the Windows Task Scheduler.

If MyDefrag still runs even though you have uninstalled it, check you programs folder for another MyDefrag installation.

Perhaps you should check your system for viruses and malware. The MyDefrag uninstaller is clean and nice, it will completely remove all traces of MyDefrag, including registry entries and the tasks in the Task Scheduler, quickly and no need to reboot. But not in your case, so perhaps your copy was infected by a virus or malware. Did you download from the MyDefrag website or somewhere else?

The MyDefrag installer has an option where you can choose to create the automatic tasks or not.

That sounds like the screensaver.

My guess is the OP installed, allowed MyDefrag screensaver to be installed and selected, and possibly did a manual uninstall, leaving the two screensaver files in system32 - and leaving the screensaver still set as default.
