what is/who makes: stopdefragment.exe?

In msconfig, I found "stopdefragment.exe" being run at startup.  It's by an "unknown" manufacturer.  I googled the file name and couldn't determine where it comes from. 

If it is used by MyDefrag, then great!  But does anyone know?

question 2) I've also stopped windows7 from running it's defragger since I'm running MyDefrag's schedules.  Does anyone know, Does the windows defragger work against Mydefrag?  (If I'd left it running).  Or are the two programs non-conflicting?  I ask because I know MyDefrag has it's own special file-sorting methods (as far as where files are placed on the hard-drive.)

Did you search where on your disk the file is? should give an idea where it comes from?

It's not part of MyDefrag.

They use conflicting file placement strategy's so the builtin defragger should be disabled if using MyDefrag.

A program like CCleaner can stop it from running at startup, or you could do it manually:

Startup type : Registry Startup, [HKLM..Run] or [HKCU..Run]
Display Name : StopDefragment
Path : Install\StopDefragment.exe

How to remove startup entry.
Open a command prompt. (Run a command prompt as Administrator in Windows vista/7)
Copy command line and Paste.

If it's loaded as a Windows Service, then perhaps something like Sysinternals AutoRuns can be used to delete it, or something simpler, like: How to Delete a Windows Service in Windows 7, Vista or XP, Remove windows service ? and/or a software like the Windows Service Commander.
