Is this THE tool?

I want to shrink my XP on the only hard disk to some 8-9 Gb and install another opsys in the remaining 30 Gb or so. Usually defrag + Create Partition works, but now after several defrags most of the empty space sits between 3 data areas and there is only 8 Gb out of 40 at the end. I suspect these data areas include something XP thinks it is using (like pagesys). Can MyDefrag do the magic`? If so, I'll download it immediately and be eternally grateful!

I have to answer my own question after having checked the very good support pages - yes, MyDefrag can do this when the system is booted from another media.

Tip: for resizing partitions the free
Gnome Partition Editor
is very good. You don't need MyDefrag to move the data first, Gnome will do it all for you.
