Hi,

your homepage says about the Defrag API:
Quote
MyDefrag is based on the Microsoft defragmentation library, which is only available for the Windows versions after Windows 2000, not for [...] Windows NT

According to the article 'Inside Windows NT disk defragmenting', the Defrag API is present in Windows NT 4.0 - there are defrag utils based on it working under NT4, but nothing as decent as MyDefrag. Sad

If you've read the whole [FAQ]Is there a version for DOS, Windows 3/95/98/ME/NT, Linux, or Mac OS available? entry it says:

The defragmentation library is available on Windows NT, but NT lacks certain other libraries that MyDefrag requires.
So it's not the problem weather the Defragmentation API is available or not.

That's almost as old as 1.1.5. The most recent versions are 1.1.16 and 2.0.2 and yes, this is a known problem.
