[INVALID] Boot slowed down after defrag

I noticed Windows is slowed down after I defragged the hd the first time with MyDefrag. When profile is starting to load it takes very much time to show the GUI.
I used MyDefrag 4.3.1 with the monthly script for the system disk as admin. I have Windows XP sp3 on that hard disk with two accounts, 1 admin and 1 user. On another hd, the main one, I have ubuntu with GRUB (but I don't think it's relevant). The windows hd has only one partition.
How can I debug?

Go to the C:\Windows\Prefetch folder and check if the layout.ini file exits and if it has a recent modified time stamp.

Ok, excuse me... I played with services.msc and I forget it. I changed the "Shell Hardware Detection" service from Manual to Automatic again and now it works
