I'm using v3.28 in Vista.  I have it set to only defrag if last run less than 12 hours ago.  Even after it has run and completed less than 12 hours previous, it will still show as defragging.

I'm also using 3.25 in XP Pro, set to not run if less than 1 hour, and that appears to work as configured.

What do you mean with "it will still show as defragging"? What does the logfile say? What happens if you run the standard Windows version of JkDefrag, not the screensaver? The screensaver in v3.25 contained a bug, it always showed a completely black screen, so I'm not sure what you mean with "appears to work as configured"?

Hi, this is my first post and the first forum I have ever joined (go figure.)

I downloaded version 3.29 for Vista Home Premium. Works perfect! But I also have an issue with the screensaver feature. I have it set to defrag after 24 hours, but it defrags every time the screensaver starts.

By the way, i'm just a regular joe. I'm no programmer, but I like to tweak for speed and efficiency. This defragmenter is just what I was looking for to use instead of Vista's "i'm smarter than you" defragmenter.
NICE WORK!

The screensaver will only skip if the last fully completed run was more than NN hours ago. If the last run was not fully completed, or if the last run was more than NN hours ago, then defragmentation will start. Also, the time is reset every time you look at the screensaver settings.
