zone 2: fast optimize takes forever

I am running jdefrag v3.16 over the program jdefraggui.
My problem is that always when it reaches  "zone 2 : fast optimize" it is moving cluster xxx to cluster xxx, and the whole process takes forever. The progress is mostly around 0.06% or so, and it remains there for hours. Actually, it may progress if I let it run for some time, and I even reached the 100% several times. However it is much to slow and my harddrive doesn't get much sleep when using the screensaver option.

Any ideas?

By the way, turning of my antivirus did not change anyting.
Another thing is that I recently reinstalled my whole windows and the problem appears since then. On my old installation jdefrag was running without problems.

Perhaps there is more information in the JkDefrag logfile, use "-d 6" for more information in the logfile. And sometimes a reboot just before defragging helps.
