Problems with XP machine after defrag

  Hi: I downloaded and used defrag v4.3.1 two days ago. I now have some severe problems including

1 - I Cannot connect to the internet via any search engine and they do not recognise my profile
2 - My F Secure virus protection will not work and appears to be switched off
3 - All my system restore points prior to the date of defrag have disappeared
4 - I cannot access Microsoft help.

I can still receive Outlook Express emails

Could you please urgently help me to resolve this problem

It is unlikely that MyDefrag is responsible for the other points, see [FAQ]How safe is MyDefrag?.
Because of the disabled antivirus program I would suspect that you downloaded a virus from somewhere. Where did you download MyDefrag from?

I also agree. Either you download myDefrag from somewhere other than this site.
Or more likely, your antiVirus was somehow turned off AND you THEN caught one.
