I'm new to Windows 7 and would like to know if it's safe to defrag this partition:

(SYSTEM_DRV, aka: {///Volume//?82374682376weriuewrugdsfjhsgfjh-5464-46-ed-gdfg-dfg, etc....}).

Or is this just a virtual partition that's covered in the general C drive defrag?

Needless to say I couldn't find a lot of info on the web about it (tried here first, then WindowsBBS, Bing, Microsoft Support, etc...)

Thanks in advance.

Is this a 100 or 200MB hidden partition? You can ignore that one, there is no point in defragmenting it.

That looks like as if it's a vendor specific recovery partition. I wouldn't touch that.
