I have a new (to me) laptop and installed MyDefrag on it. Within 1 minute of starting "monthly on system disk" processing, I get a message that MyDefrag has crashed.

Hence, I followed the steps to UNinstall MyDefrag and reinstall the debug version of MyDefrag.

The MyDefrag.debugging logfile suggests that there is a problem with the DRAM memory of my computer. I have looped exhaustive memory-diagnostics for 24 hours with no failures.

Here is the entire contents of MyDefrag.debugging logfile below. Can you suggest any resolution to this problem?

Looks like it's the "Program Hints" crash. Look here for a solution.

Yup - you are correct. I should have spent more time researching before I posted.

The ''fix' for me was ==>  "Delete all files in your Windows\Prefetch folder."

Now, I guess I have to UnInstall the deug version of MyD and reInstall the standard MyD.

You can make your PC faster with Prefetch properly enabled. Just read the rest of the post I linked to.
