Besides, it defrags the Registry FILES on the hard disk drive, but a registry file itself is like a database. Changes made on that database can create fragmentation in type of gaps. But this process is not so huge like fragmentation on the hard disk drive. It is enough, when you make a registry defrag every year.

The freeware NTREGDEFRAG will consult the Windows API to optimize those database files of the registry. After this step, you should use latest MyDefrag version with monthly script to defrag the new created registry database files on your hard disk drive.
