Jeroen, could you please consider adding a script setting that will allow changing of display update frequency? For instance, a user may increase update time to e.g. 2 seconds in order to save resources.

Thanks for sharing your idea, I appreciate it. Is the display a bottleneck on your computer? Not for me, but I can imagine that it can be on slow computers. I will put it on the wishlist.

It can be slow even on fast computers. Since Vista and 7, there's the DWM wich translates the GDI commands zu D3D-Commands. On some systems with special drivers (f.e. ATI CATALYST) it can be slow. Disabling Aero might be a solution.
