MoveToEndOfDisk add a switch to start with files nearest top

Currently MoveToEndOfDisk takes the 1st file moves it top, 2nd file so on. Add a switch so that instead it would move the file that is nearest to the top first.
Usefull for 2 Reasons
1. would be faster
2. makes room at the top to move more files as the process continues.
For instance I have a 500 gig drive that has 400g of .avi files and about 50g of other stuff, instead of using 1 command to move all the .avi files to the top, I had to move about 40 gigs to the top, set the top 40gigs to be excluded. MoveDownFill the rest. Move another 40 to the top ....... etc
Note: It took a bit of effort but the drive is a LOT faster now. Its even better than splitting the drive into 2 partitions since the head never has to travel past the first partition unless I access one of the .avi files (I kept all the directories at the beginning),
Thanks a bunch for all your effort with this program.

Thanks for sharing your idea, I appreciate it. It's a good idea and I wonder why I haven't thought of it myself
Maybe not as an option, but standard how it works.

Hi,
I have been using the above sorting for ages, even with jkdefrag, with my HTPC.
I would really like a sorting algorithm to get everyhing sorted from the back end of disk, oldest last... If i have a .ts file and it is really old, chances are that it will stay on the disk. Playing movies does not take to much strain on the disk. But when I am recoding a program, I would like to have the fastest part in the beginning free.
I have a couple of media disks, from 500gig to 2TB. Moving up and down as above takes quite some time!
Best regards
Bengt
