I updated the scripts to the latest MyDefrag version (4.29) and used MoveToEndOfDisk() for the spacehogs. I hope you like it ^^.

I added a big spacehog list to the script to exclude them from zone 2 where the user files are placed.
So the last zone will move the rest (spacehogs) to the end of the disk.

Images of optical media

*.bin
*.cue
*.iso
*.isz (compressed iso)
*.img
*.sub
*.ccd
*.nrg
*.c2d
*.cdj
*.mds
*.mdf
*.bwt
*.bt5
*.bt6
*.bwa
*.bws
*.bwi
*.pdi
*.daa
*.uif
*.gi
*.ibp
*.ibq

Disk imaging

*.dcf
*.img
*.img.gz (SelfImage)
*.img.bz2 (SelfImage)
*.ima
*.tib
*.qdi
*.gho
*.ghs
*.v2i
*.dmg
*.mrimg
*.partimg
*.partimg.gz
*.partimg.bz2
*.spf
*.E01
*.wim
*.arc
*.adf

Please let me know if some spacehog filetypes are missing.  Wink

I also removed an unused line where a gap was added before the move to end zone.

Why don't you use *.img* and *.partimg*? Then you've got them all.

Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it. I didn't know that the wildcards work like in the command line console of windows, I will change it now. Smiley
Edit: Changed and reuploaded.

I love this forum since double posts are allowed. Grin Grin

I'm working on a rethink of the scripts, I added a zone where the files from the boot optimize list and the prefetch data is consulted on the beginning of the file.
It is one single zone where the two things are or-ed, so that there is a single zone, without a gap after it to avoid more fragmentation. On this kind of drives or partitions,
the gaps are not neccessary, I think. Please give me feedback about this.

I also fixed a bug, that some scripts hadn't the wildcard asterisk at the end of *.img and *.partimg in the FileName() statement.

I think this new concept might bring a small performance boost, especially if some portable programs or something are on this drive.
I will ulpoad the changed scripts as soon as possible.

Please read my announcement.
