I don't see any reasons for implementing SortByNothing command. Move every file in the zone (at least once) to put it to random place? Why???

Not to put them in a random place, but for examle to FastFill all the directories in the first zone instead of always sorting them to move them up.

Basically, SortByNothing() would be a FastFill() without the "Fast" - one that forces the files into the zone, but without "forcing" the fill (fragmenting files), and without skipping locations to speed up the optimize ("Fast"). The Sort's have a different behavior that would be desirable without the Sorting mechanism Wink

You're talking about SortByNothing but you expect it to behave how FastFill should behave - i.e. to leave files already inside the zone where they are and put files outside the zone in. But that's not how SortBy commands work, that's what FastFill does (except moving files "up") so I prefer calling it improving FastFill over calling it SortByNothing.
