Not exactly a new question, but I figured I would re-post it just to start it fresh again to see if anyone had any current thoughts about it. Does MyDefrag "play well" with Vista's boot file defrag or should this Vista service be disabled? I am inherently distrustful of ANY Vista automatic service, and time has proven, in my opinion, that all versions of Windows have fallen short in performance with the built in defrag options. Add to that my respect and gratitude for MyDefrag. So, any thoughts? Thanks in advance for any input!

It is better to disable the Windows defragger. It has different ideas on how to optimize the disk, so it undoes part of MyDefrag's optimization.
