OK, I read it, but still don't understand this behavior:

I have MyDefrag set as screensaver to run the Daily script, then go to a black screen.

I run the MyDefrag program using the weekly script. The MyDefrag screensaver starts after 20 minutes, and will interrupt the main MyDefrag program and start its daily script, thus ending the weekly program.

This setting should prevent that interruption from occuring:

PreventScreenSaving(yes)

It does not.

What exactly am I missing?

One more thing about the screensaver - I have "black screen" as the "run after..." screensaver. When this black screen is active, there is a silver bar across the top. Is that supposed to be there?

The settings prevents the screensaver from starting. It does not stop the screensaver if it is already running.

Its NOT already running.

The screensaver starts in the middle of a weekly optimization.

Yet, if MyD "weekly" is running, the MyD screensaver starts and terminates the "weekly" run.

So this is normal behavior and there is nothing I can do about it?

Ah, I see what you mean now. No, that is a bug. I see that the PreventScreenSaving() setting is ignored if it is in the Settings.MyD file. Will be fixed in the next release. For now you can work around it by placing the PreventScreenSaving(yes) command somewhere in the beginning of the weekly script. You could also change the OtherInstances() setting in the Settings.MyD file into OtherInstances(exit)
