Incidental -> Occasional use ?

I am not an english native speaker, but I think

instead of "incidental use" ( feeling like unwanted, by mistake) (context of monthly optimize script)
one could use instead of that "occasional use" ( like time by time, now and than... in sense of seldom, not often)

Thanks for your input, I appreciate it. I am also not a native english speaker, but I think you are right and that "occasional" is slightly better. According to my dictionary "incidental" does not mean "unwanted, by mistake". Perhaps you are thinking about "accidental".

Well, I did not meant accidental, even if incidental does have slightly different meaning than I guessed - like random, sudden, not planned event occurence.
