I have 2 hard-drives, each with XP loaded.

Can I more effectively defrag and optimise the XP on the other hard-drive (the one that is not booted)?

Or is it best to defrag and optimise only the currently running opperating system??

Thank you.

You might be able to move more files in the non booted XP, so it can be more effective.

Any boot optimizion that MyDefrag does with ImportListFromBootOptimize command, will only apply to the booted XP.

Thank you.

Yes. If you run MyDefrag only once, from one of the XP's, then it will not boot-optimize the disk of the other XP. It is better to run MyDefrag in each XP. You will have to make a script for each XP, and exclude the "other" disk in each script (see the ExcludeVolumes script command).
