I have used TrueCrypt for probably a year with no issues and recently tried (and still using) MyDefrag.
By coincidence one of my TrueCrypt containers started to report an "Incorrect Volume Size".
The container still mounts (along with another, with a single password entry) and I haven't lost anything.
I just get an annoying pop-up window asking me for the password, which I enter but it thinks it is not the correct one.

Anyway, I moved everything out of the container and made a brand new container and put everything back. It went OK.
However, I am sure, that after another MyDefrag, it has caused the same problem again.

Is it possible?

Well, it's the first I hear of it. As far as I know MyDefrag and Truecrypt are compatible. And MyDefrag does not change anything about volumes, it only moves files to different locations inside the volume. So my first reaction is that it must be something in TrueCrypt, not MyDefrag. Have you recently upgraded TrueCrypt? If not then perhaps the problem will be fixed by an upgrade.

I am glad you replied, because it jogged my memory.
I did upgrade TrueCrypt to the latest version i.e. 6.2a around about the same time as using MyDefrag.
To clear up the issue, I will remove the container and re-create to see if I can re-boot my PC with no issues.
Thereafter, I will run MyDefrag and see what happens after that.
Thanks for your help.

I've been using MyDefrag under Truecrypt since the first beta without any problems on any of my drives.  I'd agree that the upgrade to 6.2a is far more likely to have caused an issue than MyDefrag.

My final word on the topic.
I now believe that it was the upgrade to 6.2a that started my problems and not MyDefrag.

Does it happen when you defrag the drive that holds the container or the container itself. Also is this a dynamic size container? Is it a hidden volume? What OS are you using, and is the OS drive fat32 or NTFS, what about the container file system?
