Some files have exactly the same size in bytes. On second run MyDefrag sometimes shuffles these in allready optimized areas. They are placed in a certain order by MyDefrag, but are moved away and placed back in a different order by the same script.
I use SortBySize(Descending).

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it. Yes, the sequence of files that have the same size is undefined.

Maybe you could set a default that works like this:

If the names are the same then the tiebreaker is Size (ascending)

If the sizes are the same then the tiebreaker is the Name (ascending)

That way it wouldn't resort on different runs...

The inode number would make a good secondary sort key. It is unique and never changes for a given file.
