Personally I'd rather see Jeroen focus what time and energy he has for MyDefrag on
functional features, as he's taken his defragmenter from being a cool novelty to one that defines the
state-of-the-art (as far as the Microsoft API allows)...
That's not to say I don't think a '
cool' GUI and fragmentation display wouldn't be nice; in fact it would (sadly) probably help MyDefrag get even more recognition. I'd add that elaborate feature laden displays can be very resource heavy which is rather the antithesis of what Jeroen has done with his defragmenter/optimizer.
The good news is MyDefrag Open Source, so anyone that wants to create a really elaborate display for the program can, which I'm sure someone eventually will.
