Hi,
I am from germany and my english isn`t that good but I would like to ask for a real GUI with easy options switching without having to open a options script.
I am using JKDefrag for a long time now but I am using the JKDefragGUI from here:
http://jkdefrag.8qm.de/#10 (I don`t know if you already know this site and software).

I know this site is in german but in my opinion it`s the best GUI I`ve ever seen for a defragmentation tool.
Here are directlinks to pics:

You can choose between "Analyze only", "Analyze and Defrag" and "Defrag and Optimize". Also you can choose how to sort by: name, size, last access, last change, date of creation. At the bottom are options for "Push all together" and "Push to end of harddisk"

Here is an option to filter paths, set spacehogs, speed and free space at beginning of harddisk.

This are options for automatically tasks.

Screensaveroptions.

And at "Extras" are options to automatically close JKDefrag after defragmentation, reboot or shut down the pc.

Such a GUI (in english or with option to choose language) would be absolutely great for MyDefrag!
What do you think?

Thank you very much for sharing your idea, I appreciate it. Yes, I am sure that many people welcome a nice GUI. I am concentrating on building the core MyDefrag program, and am leaving it up to other people to build a nice GUI, just like with JkDefrag. I have seen several messages from people who are working on GUI's, but nothing ready yet.

If you take a close look at the site you are linking to, you will find a link to a MyDefrag GUI: http://www.mydefrag.net/
(You can also view this site in English, when click on the link in the upper right corner Wink )

I haven't tried the program because I'm writing the scripts on my own. It looks just like the GUI for JKDefrag.
