A GUI?

Hello,

since my last post in this topic was already some time ago, I wanted to inform you about the recent development of JkDefragStarter.
I've already reached version 1.17.4.

Some of the highlights in the latest releases:
- French translation
- possibility to pause and resume JkDefrag by suspending the process (works with both windows and console versions)
- possibility to enter floating-point numbers for the free space zones (for example 0.5 %); only English number format is supported

If you want an easy-to-remember URL, you can use http://jkdefragstarter.de.vu, but the free domain provider where I registered it is known to have connectivity problems, so it may not work sometimes.

Cool, I've thought a few times that could be really useful (for large disks where 1% free space is too big). Your work on this GUI is much appreciated

The prefs for the "maximum runtime" per job should work in the next version (currently only
in the GUI, without any function).

For some existing problems by reading the drive-temperaturs on some drives via the smart exe,
I would use in one of the next versions the smartmontools (http://smartmontools.sourceforge.net/) instead of the smart.exe.

A new GUI is available (which also solved the FALSE keylogger warning ..

- Improved deleting folders internet explorer cache current users, will not leave empty folders anymore
- Logfiles can be deleted from within the GUI
- JkDefragGUI not packed with UPX anymore to reduce the amount of false positives by virusscanning software
 -Updated Uninstaller, a registry value was left behind
