Ok, so I have the latest JKDefrag and using the 64bit on my Vista 64 system.

I have a RAID 1 set up using the Intel Matrix controller ICH10R, all is well, system working blah blah.

Now when I run the JKDefrag, it shows doing the defrag and when its all done I have a "black screen" within the program view (JKDefrag).

But if I run another JKDefrag or uisng something like Defraggler, once again it shows as being about 23% fragmented!

So, are both programs capable of defragmenting a RAID 1 system using Vista 64 (and Intel Drive Matrix)?

Thanks,
Macpeteo

Yes, no problem whatsoever. MyDefrag does not know anything about the underlying hardware, it leaves that up to Windows. It can therefore defragment and optimize anything and everything that behaves like a disk.

For more information see your JkDefrag logfile. Some system files cannot be defragmented, the JkDefrag homepage lists several cases and gives tips what you can do about them.
