The "windefrag.exe" program is technically a GUI (graphical user interface), even though it does not have any pull-down menu's and is rather stark in appearance. I like it that way, it's very easy to use because there are no settings and everything is automatic. Feel free to build a nicer looking GUI....

I have added a bit of text to the homepage about most people not needing the GUI. I'm sure lot's of people will appreciate Emiel's GUI, but I fear it will confuse new users into thinking that the program is so difficult to use that they need a GUI for it. Which is not true, the program was designed to be extremely easy to use and is completely automatic.

Jeroen.. you're completely right..
Your program doesn't need a GUI.. but sometimes you don't want to defrag your first partition because you did it yesterday.. with the GUI it's a lot easier to select the second partition

with the GUI it's a lot easier I agree! I really do! And I really like your GUI. The only reason I put that text on the homepage is because people might miss the fact that JkDefrag is fully automatic, which I think is the best thing about it.

I've updated the GUI to version 0.4 with the following improvements
- Added USB, Floppy and Ramdisk support, drives are selectable - Added taskscheduler (Will be disabled in U3 or BartPE mode) - Added manual save settings (even Scheduler Time/Interval/Days) - Added restore settings to default - Added transparency to JKDefrag and JKDefrag GUI - Added fade-out on exit - Added portuguese translation - Fixed a small bug in User defined language value58 not set - Fixed a small bug wrong version saved in inifile when ini file is created - Fixed a small bug wrong action selected when selecting Analyze, defragment and fast optimization
Best regards,
Emiel
