I have a few of my questions as follows
1. How to make a file fragmented? How to put the fragmentations to particular sector I want? Say, I create a file (1k byte). I fragment it into two fragmentations. I put one fragmentation at sector 101, and the other at 1900.
2. How to specify the particular sector where a file is allocated? Say, I create a file (0.5k byte). I want to put this file at sector 230.

Is it possible to add these functions to Mydefrag? Or, is there any tool or method can do this?

many thanks

There is a small commandline tool included with MyDefrag that can fragment files. It cannot place files at specific sectors, though. For more information see the MyFragmenter manual.

You can place files anywhere you want with a MyDefrag script, see the SetBeginOfZone volume action.
