[Tool] MyDefrag Tray Tools

Updated to 0.64 (2009-10-04)
Yes its me again with another utility, but it might actually be useful this time
or not.
Well it started when I wanted to do something with a file I saw with MyDefrags targeting system
and it had a long path so I thought hmm wouldn't it be nice to just copy the path from MyDefrag, so the next idea was to make a feature request, but then I thought I might as well do a small utility that could copy the path and have some other functions and
MyDefrag Tray Tools
was born.
MyDefrag Tray Tools(MyDTT) runs in the systray and adds some keyboard shortcuts to MyDefrag like Ctrl+Ins to copy the path that MyDefrag has in focus, and it also adds a hide feature, and when hidden(or minimized) there is a Balloon feature that display what MyDefrag is up to when hidden.
Now there is also a WhenFinished submenu with shutdown and reboot commands, when activated will shutdown or reboot when MyDefrag has finished.
And also a simple
Run MyDefrag
dialog, with a list of scripts from MyDefrags scripts directory, I'm planning to expand this with more options.
This is the menu with all functions, its possible to hide/unhide the MyDefrag window by doubleclicking the systray icon.
Here is the download
MyDefragTrayTools.zip
it includes a .exe and the
AutoHotkey
script source.

Thanks for your contribution, I appreciate it! I have it on the wishlist to make MyDefrag minimizable to the systemtray, to be implemented sometime in thr future. Little busy getting the kinks out of the beta....

Just noticed a spelling error in your screenshot, namely "Baloon" should be "Balloon".

Thanks, while making the tool I felt there was something wrong with
Baloon
but I did not see it, I have updated the tool and screenshot.

Not sure. I'm mainly using it together with Paehl's gui. I like the balloon and pause function, not sure what copy path is good for ...

It copies the path(filename) that you are pointing to in MyDefrag, if you find a file you want to do something with.

I like the balloon
Cool, I wasn't sure if it would be useful or just annoying
, I'm planning to make the Balloon information configurable, to show more or less information.

I have updated the program to version 0.6
There is now a WhenFinished submenu with shutdown and reboot commands, when activated will shutdown or reboot when MyDefrag has finished.
And also a simple Run MyDefrag dialog, with a list of scripts from MyDefrags scripts directory, I'm planning to expand this with more options.
Edit: the shutdown/reboot option works if MyDefrag closes after it's finished, but only the English version works without closing, as my tool looks for the "Finished" text in MyDefrag.

Hi
It will be very good for me but it doesn't work. When I try to launch "Run my defrag..." I can see the path as it :
C:\Program Files\MyDefrag v4.1.2\Scripts\ForceTogether.MyD and when I click on Run I 've got an error :
Fatal error, script not found : C:\Program.
I think, normally, the path should must be : "C:\Program Files\MyDefrag v4.1.2\Scripts\ForceTogether.MyD"
please note the "" but I don't know how I can modify the path
thanks for all

Oops, it looks like I missed some quotes
, I have updated to ver 0.61 and hopefully it works now.

Hi Jonib,
it 's good now. The path is correct but there is an other bug...
When I click on Run My Defrag... on the taskbar and choose Force together and run, I 've got an error :
Mydefrag cannot execute the script. Syntax error at line 20 column 1.........
May be the script Force together (the genuine script downloaded with mydefrag) is incorrect, may be your soft doesn't work with this script.
Despiste of that, it's very good soft.

ForceTogether.MyD is a
example script
that needs to be edited before it works.
Did you try any other script like FastOptimize.MyD or DefragmentOnly.MyD?
