Hi all:
Question from a Newbie...
In the list of known problems for MyDefrag v4.0b2, Jeroen writes a warning about:
<< ... Certain boot manager ... software can be incompatible with MyDefrag ... MyDefrag contains a list of exceptions and will never move the critical files of SafeBoot, Acronis OS Selector, SecurStar DriveCrypt, Symantec GoBack, and PGP Whole Disk Encryption. Software not listed here is probably safe to use, check the manual or ask your vendor. If you know of any other software that needs a special exception then please let me know. >>

I would like to install and try MyDefrag on a computer with TeraByte BING (BootIt Next Generation) multi-boot manager. Am I at risk? To the best of my knowledge, this boot manager uses a partition that is is not accessed by Windows hence it should be safe. Is that assumption correct?

I am a longstanding user of BING, and have not encountered any problems with regard to any defraging.  You should be quite safe using MyDefrag.

BootIt NG uses a seperate (hidden) partition to do its work, which MyDefrag cannot see, so you shouldn't be worried about any imcompatibilities. Wink
