Hello everyone!

Why are there no colours apart from grey and some red? For some strange reason Mydefrag does not show any other colours and moves the gray bars all around.
By the way, JKdefrag 3.36 works perfectly well and shows all the colours on the same computer.

Thank you very much in advance  Cool

Maybe because on average your files are not fragmented? What do you think yourself? The yellow lines signify fragmented files, the greyish blue area consists of unfragmented files, the red lines are unmovable and the black means empty space. Whta colors would you have wanted more?

Everything looks fine too me. See What are the colors on the diskmap? for an explanation of the colors. If you prefer the JkDefrag colors then you can select them by adding some lines to your "c:\Program Files\MyDefrag v4.1.2\Scripts\Settings.MyD" file, see SetFileColor for an example.

Ok, look how the same computer looks in JKdefrag:

All the grey files are not in fact fragmented. Then why are they grey? The colour scheme here http://www.mydefrag.com/FAQUsing-WhatAreTheColorsOnTheDiskmap.html does not say anything about grey colour.

Then why are they grey?
I see no grey in your MyDefrag snapshot. I think what you call grey is actually blue. It's not a bright in-your-face maximum blue, but it's blue.

Oh, I see! Well, seems like I am a bit colour-blinded...or probably I didn't expect to see blue at all (after JKdefrag), and so called it "grey"  Grin
