I must be missing something!  I have a server drive d:\ that I want to sync to a workstation's K:\ on a box named cyberpyr8.  I keep getting the following:

Contacting slave 'cyberpyr8'...
Error: error 10061: Connection refused
Disconnecting from slave...
Finished.

I have added it to the firewall applications and port as well as turn off the firewall completely.  I still get the above message.  I am using the default password from the config files right now.

What lines should I have in my config file and my wrk file?

Here's what I have now in my wrk file (SyncUpload):
include     d:/*
slave       cyberpyr8 fhdjsfjsfjdkhsfkdgs

Here's what I have in my cfg file (SyncServer):
access fhdjsfjsfjdkhsfkdgs K:/*

Any suggestions?

In your case the source and the destination directories are different, and therefore you have to specify them both on the "include" line in the wrk file, like this:

Code:
include d:/* k:/*

p.s. This forum is only for my JkDefrag program, not for my other programs. Ask me anything you want through my Address page. Please let me know when you have read this, so I can clean it up.

Sorry, I wasn't sure where to post this.  I tried it but it still didn't work.  I will move over to the address area.

Perhaps the program cannot find the hostname "cyberpyr8"? Try the ipaddress of that machine instead. Also make sure the "Kessels SyncServer" service is running on that "cyberpyr8" machine, not just installed but actually running in the Services panel.
