I hope the analyze feature of jkdefrag can be improved and gives "vivid" details and explanations bout the drives, and maybe more clear and detailed than the built-in windows defrag analyze feature..coz I don't see anything after just running the analyze button using the GUI. It doesn't give explanations or suggestions if there's really a need to defragment a drive.

The analysis mode is intended for debugging and testing. It does not give suggestions wether or not there is a need to defragment a drive. In my view all disks should be defragmented once every day, that's what the program was designed for. If there is no fragmentation then the running time will be virtually the same as just analysis....

JkDefrag writes the analysis messages to a logfile called "JkDefrag.log", or "JkDefragCmd.log", or "JkDefragScreenSaver.log", depending on which version you are using. You can view the logfile with for example Notepad, it's a flat-text file. The analyze mode is available in the Windows version, but is really only useful in the commandline version.
