Just for your information.
My C: drive, XPpro OS exclusive. The new version 3.36 left some files (? I suspect restore files) (green) at random in the first gap during default defrag, also after repeated reruns. V 3.35 sorted it out on first run. Also, the gap size didn't appear to change? Perhaps you can make some sense out of this.

Green in the middle of the first free area is probably some directories that are too big for any gap. In that case JkDefrag leaves them where they are. I don't know what you mean by the gap size that didn't change, it is a percentage of the volume size so it will never change.
