I"m not sure if anyone else has been having this issue.  I've search the forums and have not been able to find anything.  I have not been able to get the screensaver to work properly.  When it is scheduled to come on soometimes it does but more often than not it just flickers and then goes back to where it was.  I have the screensaver set to run all the time; it is set to not run if it last did zero hours ago.  So it should run no matter what, right?  Any ideas?

This is a known problem, see threads http://www.kessels.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=111 and http://www.kessels.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=113. It's caused by the setting for the screensaver to be run after JkDefrag has finished. It doesn't work for some users and the screensaver crashes. If you select "[black screen]" the screensaver should not crash.

I have just released version 3.6, and I am hoping it will fix your problem. Please let me know!

This absolutely solved the problem!!!  Thanks very much.  I must admit though that I like going to a dark screen after defragging more than starfield.  But both work now.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad to hear it. The problem was caused by a totally weird bug in the Microsoft screensaver library and I couldn't be sure my workaround would solve the problem for everyone.
