Bonjour again !

Not about bugs, but suggestions :

- Could it possible to specify that file on the end (or the beginning) of the disk DON'T have to be moved again (with criteria like % or cluster number)

- Would it possible to add a new function : move free space in a defined zone of the disk.

Example: create a free zone of some Gb in the beginning of the disk.

- It would really interessant having an option who replace WITH A FILE the online arguments ( -a 8 ..... -e .....), so with a file containing all those specifications.

Sure, it possible to use BATCH files, but the previous solution could be more integrated and "clean".

But i've some time 4 or 6 lines of files to optimize and files to exclude...

- Interesting : the possibility to skip a file while an optimization (optimize ou move), with [ESC] or a button on the preview screen.

Bon courage !
Michel

Thank you very much for sharing your ideas, I appreciate it!

I'm sorry but I do not understand what you are proposing here.

move free space in a defined zone of the disk.
Yes, will be possible in JkDefrag version 4.

with a file containing all those specifications.
Yes, will be possible in JkDefrag version 4. It has a scripting language, and small script files are used instead of the commandline.

It's a nice idea but it's technically not possible. JkDefrag is based on the Microsoft Defragmentation API, and that API does not have a facility to cancel a move.
