Hello,
Is it possible to shut the window when defragmenting is finished. When the defragmentation of all the disks finished, the windows remains open; so if the program is starting in the evening, the computer remains runing all the night because of that window opened and cannot go sleeping. I hope you can understand what I mean, because my usual linguage is not english.
Regards

in a shortcut to jkdefrag you have to add the -q parameter if u are using the windows based version, this will close jkdefrag when finished, here is an example

"C:\program files\jkdefrag\jkdefrag.exe" -q

The commandline version of JkDefrag ("jkdefragcmd.exe") is designed for automatic system administration tasks, and will exit automatically when finished. The windows version of JkDefrag ("jkdefrag.exe") is designed for interactive use and will only exit automatically if you specify the "-q" commandline option.

Hello, have a god day,
Thank's for your two answers. Can I ask you something else? With the screen saver's version, it stop working when you use again your computer; that is normal; but if you stop working again, the program start from the beginning, so you never finish total defragmentation. it always the same part who is defragmented. Is it possible to continue the same defrag? Thank's
